Yard Maintenance     We offer professional residential yard maintenance services for the Seattle, Renton, and Bellevue areas. Our grounds maintenance services include pruning, weeding, winterizing and yard clean-up. We have the expertise to maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and groundcovers. We offer scheduled or on-call maintenance programs. You may wish to specify what your needs are prior to our visit or you may leave it to our experienced crew to give you recommendations. We include debris removal and disposal for a fraction of the cost of doing it yourself. Pruning        Any type of pruning for ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials can be done at any time of the year except during freezing weather or excessively hot weather. Some types of flowering plants should be pruned immediately after blooming. People prefer to prune deciduous plants in the late fall or winter after leaves fall off the trees, making it easy to define the cutting and reducing clean up. The best time to prune fruit trees such apple, pear, plum, or cherry is between Oct. and Feb. We tend to keep plants looking natural. We don’t trim ornamental trees or shrubs in round or rectangle shapes as you may have seen at commercial buildings. Ideally, pruning retains natural growth characteristics as much as possible unless otherwise specified.    Weeding       We remove weeds by hand from any area as you request. We don't use chemicals in flower bed areas. Weeds growing in a flower beds can be also permanently eliminated by covering the bed with a weed barrier and laying the area with beauty bark, steer co, garden mulch.  The weed barrier still allows water and air passage through the soil but does not allow the weeds to grow. Plants can be added later, by cutting the hole on the weed barrier before digging hole. Lawn Winterizing      To ensure that lawn keeps flourishing for years to come; winterize fertilizers will provide more phosphorus to give stronger roots. A lawn low in phosphorus will have an unusual greenish tint that might even be on the purple side. When enough phosphorus is applied to the grass it will fight diseases and become more tolerant to heat, severe cold, and drought. Garden Winterizing       Ground dressings such as beauty bark, steer co, and garden mulch, not only provide a natural-looking environment for gardens, but also slow down  weed growth, protecting plants from freezing in the winter, and retaining moisture on the ground in the summer. For easy access, we usually haul it in with a wheel barrel. For an inaccessible area, it can be blown directly to the desired location by a blower truck, equipped with long hoses. Weeds in the areas must be removed before blowing in the material.  Clean-Up      Clean-up any leaf on the property areas, leaf fallen from trees, blow-off the sidewalks and driveways. We pay to recycle all yard debris.
