Our professional installation will enhance the value of your home and serve both function and aesthetic. All of our wall systems are tailored to the customer’s budget, needs and desires. We offer both reinforced and gravity wall systems include Segmental Walls, Rock Walls, and Dry Stacks. The segmental wall units are designed to be self-aligning and use a patented interlocking system that molds them to each other. The natural rock wall units are constructed with building techniques, gravity and friction to hold them in place. All of our wall systems are constructed as mortarless systems. The primary benefits of a mortarless retaining wall compared with a poured concrete wall or mortared wall are: mortarless walls are designed to allow for the release of water which prevents hydrostatic pressure (water pressure). Being that they are dry-stacked without mortar, they have the ability to be much more porous and allow for greater water permeability, which will ultimately extend the life and preserve the structure of the wall. Additionally, mortarless retaining walls allow for movement in the earth without impairing the integrity or the structure of the wall. A poured concrete wall or mortar wall is a rigid system that can crack when the ground moves or heaves.Terraced Walls
Terraced walls can enhance an uneven landscape in many ways and serve many purposes. The most significant benefit to a terrace wall is the tiers it provides. Adding a terraced walls allow you utilize part of your yard that was once useless. A sufficient space can incorporate for an outdoor living space such a patio or children’s play area, planted landscape garden area, an additional parking space, and so forth. This kind of change to a landscape not only adds beauty, but the functional improvement greatly enhances the value of the home, something any homeowner and neighbors would appreciate. Also, installing a terraced wall system is one of the most effective methods of controlling an eroding slope or a drainage problem. Erosion is prevented by retaining a potentially long slope into a series of more graded levels. This allows heavy rains to soak in the ground rather than run off, taking soil with it. Terraces are built the same way as retaining walls. The difference is that terraces are built on more than one tier and at different grade levels.
Segmental Walls: Consist of modular concrete blocks that interlock with each other. They are available in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and textures. They can incorporate straight or curved lines, steps, and corners. Segmental walls are often used for grade changes, and for other functional reasons such as widening driveways, walkways, or creating more space in a patio outdoor area. Segmental walls are ideal for building both heavy-duty walls in commercial and residential projects. For product availability or an estimate, please take a look at the Segmental Walls Selections

Dry Stacks: Constructed of natural rocks. There are literally hundreds of different colors and varieties of stone including sandstone, limestone, granite, mica schist, quartz, slate and so on. There are three basic shapes: 1) Field stone is roundish "bowling-ball" stones. 2) "Stacking" stone is irregularly shaped but relatively flat. 3) Dressed stone is carefully cut to be uniform and completely flat. Dressed stone is more expensive than the other two, and gives to wall a more formal appearance. Dry-stacked walls are ideal for building garden walls and low retaining walls, small planters, garden borders and raised flowerbeds. Rock Walls: Constructed of natural rocks in irregular shape, sometimes called quarry rock and usually available in basalt, granite, lynch creek and limestone. Mostly available in colors such as brown, gray, dark gray, dark green and white gray. Sometimes rock is referred to as a half-man, one-man rock, or two-man rock. Rock is measured by how many men it would take to muscle it into position by using a 8-foot bar or lever. Because men come in different sizes and strengths, a half-man rock can be anywhere between a small rock and a rock weighing up to 150 pounds; a one- man rock can weigh upwards of 250 pounds; and a two-man rock can weigh upwards of 500 pounds. A half-man and one- man rock can be used for a wall up to 4ft high. For larger projects, a two-man rock or larger is typically engineered and constructed to handle the load of larger slopes.
