Landscape groundcover materials such as beauty bark, steer co, and garden mulch, not only provide a natural-looking environment for gardens, but also slow down weed growth, retain moisture on the ground in the summer, and protect plants from freezing in the winter. For an inaccessible area, it can be blown directly to the desired location by a blower truck, equipped with long hoses. At least 15cb. yards minimum are required to order application with a blower truck. For easy access, we haul it in with a wheel barrel for a fraction of the cost compared with blower truck service. Weeds in the areas must be removed before placing the material. We also provide weed control with groundcover material installations. Weeds growing in bed areas can be also permanently eliminated, by covering the bed with a weed barrier and laying the area with beauty bark, steer co, or garden mulch. The weed barrier still allows water and air passage through the soil but does not allow the weeds to grow. Plants can be added later, by cutting a hole in the weed barrier before digging.
